The actual ice cream itself is pretty good. It’s light, fluffy and creamy.
But there is a pathetic amount of pistachio. Apart from the thin layer smeared around the side, there is a single line of filling through the centre. At best, I would say about a similar size to a straw.
Plus pistachio paste (if they even used the proper stuff) is thick and hard to mix, especially when it’s in a FROZEN dessert. So any filling you do get is in one mouthful. While that is delicious, all it leaves you with is a $12 tub of basic vanilla ice cream.
Why they didn’t incorporate pistachio into the rest of the ice cream? I have no idea.
Overall, if you like a plain vanilla ice cream with a hint of pistachio and a side of getting scammed, I’m sure you will love this.
Vanilla icecream quality is not premium and over priced. the tub is 95% vanilla and 5% pistachio
The softest and creamiest gelato I’ve ever tried. Digging up the pistachio cream is my favourite part. 1 second there’s a tub of it, the next it’s empty.
OMG this stuff is SOOO good!! I love the face that the label doesn't have all the nasties, however (sounds better than "but") it's just waaaay TOOO expensive! I bought it because I wanted to see what the hype was all about. That said, I can't see myself buying it unless ColesWorth has it on special.
The perfect mix of pistachio throughout the gelato. Light, fluffy, smooth and not too sweet. Just perfect.
